Mortise Pal – here is a versatile routing jig that quickly, accurately, and cleanly cuts mortises; these mortises will accept floating or loose tenons, choose your terminology depending where you are in the world. In the UK we use the term “loose tenon” and these can either be purchased in pre-cut sizes, in cut lengths or you can produce them on a router table and cut them to length. The Mortise Pal is intuitive in use, delivers accuracy, is of a manufactured quality to appreciate and so will provide many years of service.
