The GRR-Ripper™ is designed to keep your fingers well away from the cutting edges of table saw blades, router bits, planer blades and shaper cutters.

The GRR-Ripper™ System is a blade guard that the "user holds", rather than a blade guard that is affixed to the back of the table saw. The GRR-Ripper™ becomes an unyielding barricade between the blade and both of your hands. You would have to remove a conventional blade guard when attempting the cut illustrated in the photo, regardless of the pusher used.

Yes, we all know the dangers our actions can present but until now there has not been a "quick and safe commercial solution". This has now changed with the availability of the GRR-Ripper™, so use it to eliminate most risks. This tool turns your momentary forgetfulness, hesitation and reluctance into "safe determination" so that you can approach, with confidence and safety, difficult tasks.

With safety the over riding factor, we wish to make it clear that the GRR-Ripper™ System is not intended to replace or interfere with the saw table blade-guard combination. It is specifically designed for those times when the conventional combination of Blade-guard and Riving Knife would interfere with the wood working process. The GRR-Ripper™ System is designed to protect both hands, at all times during use, regardless of movement.

So what is GRR-Ripper™?

To use a well known phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words", and this is a case in point, but a few words would enhance the understanding.

Unlike a conventional push block or push stick that only pushes the timber, the GRR-Ripper™ controls both sides of the work piece during feeding. It is a Protective Hand Pusher System.

The combined adhesion of the pads at the base of each, of the three legs, which need to be experienced to be appreciated, securely grip the timber on both sides of saw blade, whilst the side of the GRR-Ripper™ body slides against the rip fence to obtain the required parallel feed.

Besides its concept of safety and ease of use, quality and precision are two other reasons why the GRR-Ripper™ becomes a favorite tool for those who own one or two. Whilst the pads grip the timber, you push or feed "both sides of the stock" - the required piece and the off-cut - as the saw blade passes through a "tunnel," totally protecting ALL of your fingers.

The GRR-Ripper™ maintains parallel and balanced pressures on both sides of the stock, and keeps them in their original position throughout the cutting operation - this eliminates saw marks, burning, and kick-back.

The position of the center leg and the Balance Support are fully adjustable to accommodate different stock widths and thicknesses respectively, including cutting strips as narrow as 1/4" (6.35mm). The two Side Legs are removable for certain router table operations.
